ReNew Ministry Closes July 15, 2011

We recently had to make the difficult decision to close ReNew Ministry. The ministry was created to carry out deliberate acts of love, mercy, and compassion. We initially established a thrift store that would generate revenue to help individuals in our community with emergency needs. In the past few months, we were also able to sell discounted groceries to struggling families. We thank God for the many people we were privileged to serve.

God has allowed us a season of substantial ministry, but this particular season has come to an end. Sunlight Community Church continues to be passionate about carrying out deliberate acts of love, mercy, justice, and compassion in Jesus' name. Our mission is not changing--only the methods for achieving it. Please keep this difficult transition in prayer. Thanks so much for your support of this ministry!
